The Hills are Alive with the Sound of a Creek
Yesterday I was sharing with some folks the make up of our property. It sits in a valley with hillsides to the north and the south but the feature that sold my wife and I on buying the land was the creek that runs in the back.

It runs all year but with winter rains and lower heat to cause less evaporation it is spectacular in the winter. It also is our water feature because nothing I could add to the landscape would compare. The huge flatbed rocks that the creek runs over in conjunction with a few bends create one of the many winter bright spots.
